Melanie Weghofer

A graduate of HBLA School in Vienna where she studied economic and tourism, Melanie started her hotel career working for a renowned spa hotel, in the thermal region of southern Austria.

Subsequently moving into recruitment in Vienna where she progressed over a period of some 7 years to become a senior recruitment consultant, before moving to London in 2007 and joining HOCAPS International.

Melanie also studied human resources management at the PEF University. In 2005 she finished her diploma works and received a Masters degree. She is fluent in German and English

Her hotel and tourism background, combined with her knowledge of recruitment and customer relations, is a great asset to HOCAPS International and to our international assignments in particular.

At HOCAPS Melanie is responsible for the recruitment of International Chefs positions together with Food & Beverage Department Heads, up to Food and Beverage Directors position.
